Oral Answers to Questions (OAQs) - 2025 so far

Which departments and topics have featured most?

Why is this important?

Parliamentary questions typically make up the first hour of the day in the House of Commons.

They are opportunities for MPs to hold the government to account and obtain information on behalf of their constituents.

Questions are submitted in advance to the Table Office and are selected by ballot (with the Speaker's discretion).
